The staff changes at the City of Branson continues as another Director is relieved of their duties.
After nearly 14 years with the city, Finance Director Jamie Rouch was relieved of her duties after a Special Executive Meeting of the Board of Aldermen Friday afternoon.
Mayor Larry Milton confirmed the decision in a statement to the Branson Tri-Lakes News. Milton also said when an interim replacement is made, the city will issue a press release. No other information was released by Milton, but Ozarks Dynacom has placed a Sunshine Law Request for the Minutes of the meeting for further details on decisions made. The agenda for the meeting listed both Personnel and Real Estate as topics scheduled to be discussed during the afternoon meeting.
Rouch had been with the City since 2008.
Meanwhile, a request for the Minutes of a meeting earlier in the week was granted by the city. In that meeting, City Administrator Stan Dobbins was put on Administrative Leave until the end of the month when he is scheduled to retire. According to the minutes, the move to put Dobbins on leave and appoint City Clerk Lisa Westfall as Acting City Administrator was approved by an unanimous vote of the Board.
