Missouri Seventh District Congressman Eric Burlison is ready for a second two-year-term in Washington.
Burlison, interviewed during Election Coverage Legends 1063 and the Branson Tri-Lakes News, said he was honored to be selected a second time to represent southwest Missouri in the U.S. House of Representatives. Burlison feels his hard work in Washington has been noticed by area voters and gave them confidence to send him back again.
Burrlison said he will be working on traffic infrastructure in the region including the expansion of Interstate 44 as a top priority in his second term.
Burlison added he is looking forward to working with President-Elect Donald Trump on many of the items his staff has found that they believe can be cut to help reduce the federal budget.
Burlison won a three-person race that included Forsyth Mayor Missi Hesketh to earn a second term in Congress.
