City, Fire Union Agree on New Collective Bargaining Agreement

The City of Branson has agreed to a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with the union representing the City's Firefighters.

The agreement was announced at last week's Board of Alderman Meeting with Fire Chief Ted Martin recapping the negotiations that led to the agreement between the city and the Branson Professional Firefighters Local 152. Martin told city officials that the agreement maintains the management rights for the city as well as working conditions rights for the firefighters.

Fire Captain Nate Jones representing the firefighters was also at the meeting stating the agreement was satisfactory to the union with the agreement also meeting with the approval of the City Attorney and City Administrator.

The Aldermen gave final approval on the agreement that goes into effect in 2025 for three years.

The video from the aldermen meeting can be found from a link on the City of Branson Website.
