A classical pianist will be featured in a recital next week.

College of the Ozarks will host pianist, Dr. Daniel Horn, in a guest artist recital on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Newman Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Serving as Professor and Keyboard Chair at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, Dr. Horn has taught piano since 1984. He has collaborated with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and has been a guest soloist with Sarajevo Philharmonic and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Horn has produced other works with cellist Donald Moline, soprano Carolyn Hart, and flutist Jennie O Brown. In 1997, he recorded the critically praised disk “Wanderings” for Titanic Records on a Graf fortepiano.
