Dense Fog Leads to Traffic Crash in near Protem

Low visibility is believed to be a factor in a two-vehicle crash in southeastern Taney County early Monday morning.

According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle pulled out of a private driveway near Protem and into the path of a vehicle traveling on Highway 125 causing that vehicle to hit the other on the driver’s side.

The travel of the vehicle that pulled out onto the highway, 64-year-old Ronald Wyman, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured according to the patrol report.
