The following is a press release.
If you know a high school senior who is planning to attend college, they should fill out the FAFSA. FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and it is the main source of financial aid for college students. The FAFSA is probably the most challenging thing that families have to do in their college journey.
Reeds Spring High School families can receive help with the FAFSA on Thursday, October 7. Our Student Success Advisor, Paige Cyrus-Ham, will help guide families through the process. The FAFSA is open from October 1 through February 1.
Parents can drop by RSHS anytime on October 7 between 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. The process will take about 30 minutes. Parents need to bring their 2020 tax info (W-2 and 1040) Social Security numbers, and an FSA ID if they have one.
