The Taney County community is pulling together after many were displaced by heavy rainfall and dangerous flooding this morning.

One Hollister RV park is offering free space for any campers who had to pick up and move this morning.

Those at Lakeshore RV Park say they felt called to help those in need.

“They really are good people. Most of them are older, and they were in trouble,” Jeff Green, one owner of the park said. “They needed help. They didn’t even know where to park.”

Green said calls for help started before dawn.
