Branson Mayor Larry Milton has proclaimed today in honor of an entertainer with a longtime association with Branson.

Jim Stafford Day will include a Press Conference at the Song of Hope Museum at Coffelt Country Craft Village on Highway 165 beginning at 5:45. The marquee from the Jim Stafford Theater, which Museum Founder Marshall Howden and others helped save before the building was demolished, will be on display during the ceremony.

Stafford, who owned the theater for over 30 years, has done a limited engagement of shows at the Shepherd of the Hills Theater this month. His final two shows will be Wednesday and Friday.
