MSHP Water Division Works a Pair of Accidents on Table Rock Lake

As boating traffic increased for the holiday weekend, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Division works a pair of incidents on Table Rock Lake.

The first takes place Friday afternoon around 4:00 near Point 25 in Barry County when a boat towing a skier turned to avoid a boat drifting in the water with the moving boat hitting the drifting boat in the rear corner. A man from Kansas driving the drifting boat sustained minor injuries and sought his own treatment.

The other incident occurred on Saturday just before 3:00 when a man from Louisiana got his fingers caught in an anchor rope while trying to pull it on board the boat. The man sustained minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
