MSHP Works Two Accidents on Table Rock Lake

The Water Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol works a pair of accidents on Table Rock Lake.

The first incident happened Friday evening around 10:30 when a boat traveling on Table Rock Lake west of Kimberling City hit another boat that was floating on the water. According to the report, the collision knocked the occupants off the boat but they were able to swim back and re-board the boat. Four people sustained minor injuries that were treated at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. 

Meanwhile, two women from St. Joseph sustained moderate injuries during a Saturday incident on Table Rock south of Branson. The MSHP report indicates the accident happened around 2:40 pm when a boat hit a wake, ejected the driver from the vehicle. A passenger on the boat was also injured when the force of the driver being ejected caused the passenger to hit her head on the vehicle. Both people were treated for their injuries at Cox Medical Center Branson.
