Name of Victim Released in Berryville Shooting

More information has been released on the shooting incident in Berryville over the weekend that claimed one life. 

According to the release by Police Chief Robert Bartos, Izamar Maryeli Paz of Berryville was killed in the incident that occurred at Auto Zone on Trimble Street around 1:30 Saturday afternoon. Bartos said in the release that the shooting victim was taken to Mercy Hospital in Berryville where she later died. 

Bartos added that both the victim and shooter knew each other, and both were armed at the time of the incident. The name of the alleged shooter has not been released as the investigation continues.
