Nightmare in the Ozarks in Eureka Springs on Saturday

Nightmare in the Ozarks is this weekend, according to Xavier Poe Kane.

Kane appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Thursday to talk about it. The Eureka Springs Saturday event is a film festival at the Main Street Theater. Kane said it's the first one. Colton Scrivner is hosting it.

Kane said Scrivner also runs the largest "Zombie Crawl" in the nation. Kane described this weekend event as fun for anyone with a thrist for scary stuff.

Kane is an author and veteran. He will promote his book at the event. Information about Kane is on his website; some of that information is below.

Still not a best-selling author, Xavier is a former door gunner on the International Space Station. When not making the galaxy safe for democracy, he writes whatever weirdness comes to mind. He currently lives in the woods with his wife, Morticia, in a state of mutual weirdness with their dogs Chuck Norris and the three-legged Jabba the Hutt. Thanks to the GI Bill, he has a MFA in Popular Fiction Writing & Publishing from Emerson College.

He also writes short horror for the Fear From The Heartland podcast. You can find it on iTunesYouTube, and Spotify.

He is currently working on his second and third publications releasing in 2023. The first is Broken Hearts and Other Horrors an inter-connected collection of short stories. The second is his first full novel A Mother's Torment.

More was discussed on the broadcast. The full interview with Kane is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
