Nixa Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash

A Nixa man has died in a motorcycle crash at Saddlebrook.

According to the report posted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Chance Whitelaw lost control of his motorcycle going northbound on Highway 65 at Mile Marker 24 around 6:45 Friday morning. The motorcycle crashed into the median cables which ejected Whitelaw onto the shoulder of the highway. Whitelaw was pronounced dead at the scene by Christian County Coroner Mandi Armitage. 

This is the 43rd Fatality worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2024.
