Storm Damage Light in Lakes Region, Several Tornados Reported

A complex of storms moved through the Missouri and Arkansas Monday night into the early morning hours today. 

No reports of damage have been submitted to the National Weather Service from the Lakes Region though Severe Thunderstorms Warnings were issued in both Arkansas and Missouri. A report to the NWS in Tulsa indicated damage to a mobile home and trees uprooted in the Benton County community of Garfield.  

Several Tornado Warnings were issued for areas between Joplin and Lebanon with Ozarks First reporting a confirmed tornado near Fair Grove in northern Greene County. Ozarks First also reports significant damage due to strong winds and a possible tornado in Carthage.

Rain moves out today with temperatures dropping in the region. Frost is possible Wednesday thru Friday mornings with low temperatures in the 30s.
