Traffic Stop Leads to Four Arrests

A traffic stop turns into four arrests involving drugs.

According to the probable cause statement submitted to the Taney County Prosecutors office, a Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper made a traffic stop last Wednesday on Taney County Highway F on a motorcycle without registration. The driver, Alex English of Forsyth, stated that the motorcycle belonged Lucas Boone of Kissee Mills. The trooper discovered that the motorcycle was stolen out of Springfield and that Boone had an outstanding warrant from Branson Police for Theft. 

The Highway Patrol along with Taney and Stone County Deputies eventually executed search warrants for two properties in Kissee Mills which led to the discovery of numerous drug items along with weapons. 

Boone and English along with two women, Sandra Boone and Margaret Lafferty both of Kissee Mills, are facing numerous charges including for drug possession and trafficking. All four individuals have prior convictions for possession of controlled substances. 

All four individuals are being held without bond in the Taney County Jail.
