The Bergman and Marshall Boys are the survivors of area teams in postseason basketball play on Saturday.
The Panthers take home a 74-58 win over Rivercrest in the Arkansas 3A Semi-final in Lamar and will play Manila for the State Championship game next Saturday in Hot Springs.
Meanwhile on the Girls Side, host Lamar held off Bergman 41-39 in their semi-final contest ending the Lady Panthers season.
Also on Saturday in a game heard on MOARK Sports, the Harrison Goblins bid to qualify for the 5A State Championship game came up short as Lake Hamilton held off the Goblins 65-58 in Saturday night's semi-final in Pine Bluff. The Goblins conclude their season with a 22-10 record.
Another team that came up with a victory on Saturday was Marshall, as the Bobcats defeated Earle 55-46 in the 2A Semi-finals at Rector and will move on to the State Title game next Saturday against Bigelow.
In Missouri, the Branson Lady Pirates fell a game short of a District Championship Game appearance as top seeded West Plains took advantage of 11 first half turnovers and held off the Lady Pirates 64-44 in the Class 5 District Semi-final in Marshfield.
