Gibson Technical Students Heading to State Competition

Gibson Technical Center will send many students to the SkillsUSA State Competition in April after they qualified at the district tournament. SkillsUSA is a nonprofit that helps students prepare for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service careers.

2nd Place - Vincent Estes (Forsyth)

2nd Place - Keili DeVors (Reeds Spring)

2nd Place - Aaliyah Smith (Reeds Spring)

Welding Fabrication Team
2nd Place - Talen Gold (Reeds Spring), Garret Lewallen (Galena), Jake Toal (Reeds Spring)

Baking and Pastry Arts
1st Place - Mackenzie Young (Blue Eye)

Culinary Arts
2nd Place - Amelia Wickline (Reeds Spring)

Quiz Bowl 
3rd Place - James Loggins (Forsyth), Stacie Wooten (Spokane), Dallas Duvall (Forsyth), Mackenzie Young (Blue Eye), and Aiden Shrake (Galena)
