Its opening weekend of the High School Football Season in Missouri while several schools in Arkansas also open this week.
Both Branson and Forsyth open their schedules at home, to Joplin and El Dorado Springs respectively while Reeds Spring will travel to Monett to begin the season. All three games have been pushed back to 8:00 starts due to the on-going heat.
Hollister begins the 2023 season on Saturday as they travel to Cassville in a game that was moved from 1:00 to 7:00 due to the heat.
Harrison, Green Forest, and Yellville-Summit are opening their seasons tonight while several other area schools will kick-off next week. The Goblins home game against Springdale will be a 7:30 start while the Tigers game at West Fork and the Panthers game at Little Rock Baptist Prep both will start at 8:00.
