The Pella Windows and Doors Border Battle between Branson and Harrison is among the games set to kick-off the 2024 High School Football Season.
The first meeting in varsity football in 40 years between the schools is the opener for both teams, being played this year in Branson. The winning team will get a specially made trophy that will stay with the winning school until the two meet to open the 2025 season in Harrison.
The Goblins are coming off a 7-4 season while the Pirates had their best season in 10 years, going 5-6. Complete coverage is scheduled on both Legends 1063 and New Country 1029 as well as online at MOARK Sports Dot Com. The schedule for Friday:

This is also opening night for the other Lakes Area schools including another Boarder Contest as the Hollister Tigers host the Green Forest Tigers with road trips for both Forsyth and Reeds Spring as the Panthers travel to Columbia to take on Father Tolton Catholic and the Wolves play at Rogersville.
