Holiday Tournaments Wrap-Up Today, Saturday

It is the final two days of Holiday Basketball Tournaments in and around the Lakes Region. 

The Blue and Gold Boys Basketball Tournament is wrapping up at Missouri State University. The Branson Pirates surprise run to the tournament’s final four will end in the first game of the day at Great Southern Bank Arena with the Pirates playing Sparta in the Gold Division Third Place Game. The Pirates lost to Glendale in Thursday's Semi-final 68-52. Glendale will play Central for the Gold Division Championship at 7:00. The Blue Division Championship will feature Central Ozark Conference foes Nixa and Republic matching up. 

Meanwhile cross town at Drury University, the Branson Lady Pirates look to stay alive in the Pink and White Lady Classic, playing West Plains in an elimination game at 12:30 which can also be heard at MOARK Sports Dot Com. 

The Harrison Teams split in the opening day of the Lendel Thomas Classic with the Girls losing to Earle and the Boys holding off Carthage. Games continue today with the Girls playing Highland at 6:00, the Boys Earle at 7:30. Both games are on MOARK Sports Dot Com as well as on 94.9 KHOZ. The other match-ups today will feature the Marshall taking on the Earle Girls at 3:00 and the Carthage Boys at 4:30. 

Action also continues in the Berryville Holiday Hoops tournament with other local schools taking part including Bergman, Green Forest, and Omaha taking part as well as the continuing High School Basketball Tournament at North Arkansas College. 

In other action Thursday, Blue Eye takes third at the Walnut Grove Tournament with a 44-24 win over Sparta.
