The High School Sports Season for Arkansas and Missouri is winding down. Blue Eye, Branson, Bergman, Forsyth, Hollister, Omaha, and Valley Springs are area schools that will host postseason events.
In Arkansas, Conference Track Meets took place last week with the state meets scheduled for this week.
Three meets will take place on Tuesday, the 2A at Quitman, the 3A at Prescott, and the 4A at Clarksville. The 1A will take place on Wednesday at Lincoln with the 5A coming up on Thursday at Lake Hamilton.
While 5A and 6A Schools including Harrison will wrap-up their Baseball and Softball Regular Seasons this week, Regional Tournaments will take place for Class 1A-4A Schools with two of those taking place in Harrison. Omaha will host the 1A-1 Baseball/Softball Regional while Valley Springs will host the 3A-1 Baseball/Softball Regional at the Equity Bank Sports Complex.
Soccer Regular Season in all classes wrap-up this week with State Tournaments coming next week with the 3A Competition being hosted by Bergman.
In Missouri, Softball Districts will get underway this week with Forsyth hosting the area Class 2 District beginning on Friday. Golf and Tennis Districts will also be getting underway later this week. One of those Team Districts, the area Class 2 Tournament, will take place in Forsyth.
Districts for Baseball, Soccer, and Track and Field will occur later in the month. Four of those Districts will be hosted by Lakes Area School. Branson and Blue Eye will host the area District Baseball Tournaments while Hollister will host both the area Class 3 and 4 District Track Meets.
