The results of last Friday's High School Football Regular Season finales did impact some of the District Match-ups.
Reeds Spring's loss at Rogersville moved them down to the number seven spot in the Class 3 District and put them in line for a rematch with Hollister for a second year in a row in the District Opening Round. Last year's game was cancelled after a COVID-19 Outbreak on Hollister's team forced the games cancellation. Earlier this year, Hollister got the first win in the series with a close win at Reeds Spring. The playoff match-up will happen Friday in Hollister.
In another change after Friday, the combination of Branson's loss at Republic combined with Central's big win over Forsyth moved the Bulldogs ahead of the Pirates in the Class 5 District and will send the Pirates to Rolla while Central will end up playing at Camdenton. Despite the loss, Forsyth maintains their second place standing in their Class 2 District and will host Houston Friday.
With their second seeds in their District's, both Forsyth and Hollister would host second round District Games.
