A mixture of regular season and post season events from Saturday including Regional Baseball and Softball in Arkansas and District Track in Missouri.
Regional Baseball
Harrison hosted area 1A and 3A Baseball and Softball Regional Tournaments at the Equity Bank Sports Complex. Top four finishers in each tournament move on to the State Tournament next week.
In 1A, Lead Hill qualifies for the State Baseball Tournament, finishing fourth in the regional. The Tigers dropped 22-12 decision to County Line in the 3rd Place Game Saturday. Scranton beat Ozark Catholic in the title game. Meanwhile in Softball, the Jasper Pirates take second, losing to Scranton 17-7 in Saturday's Championship Game. County Line beat Mulberry in the third place game.
In 3A, Elkins wins the Baseball Regional Tournament over Booneville with Charleston and Danville also making the field while in Softball, Valley Springs will join Booneville, Hackett, and Lincoln in the State Tournament.
Other area schools qualifying for State Tournaments include Cotter, who finished third in the 2A Baseball and Softball Regional at Greenland.
5A and 6A Schools have no regional tournament with the top four finishers in conference play moving on to state. The Harrison Lady Goblins Softball team is included in the 5A Field and will open play against host Marion Thursday in a game that will be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com.
District Track
Class 1 and 2 Schools in Missouri competed in District Track Meets on Saturday.
Two area Class 2 Schools took the top two sports at the Boys Meet in Mountain Grove with School of the Ozarks taking first and Blue Eye second in the team competition with Spokane taking seventh. Spokane was the top area finisher on the Girls Side with a second place team finish with Blue Eye taking eighth.
In the Class 1 also at Mountain Grove, School of the Ozarks and Crane finish one-two in the Girls Team competition with Crane taking sixth.
Galena finishes in the top five in the team competition at the Class 2 Meet in Bolivar, finishing fifth in the Boys, fourth in the Girls Meet.

Regular Season Baseball
The opening day of the Forsyth Baseball Tournament saw the two area teams sweep games. Two of the games heard on MOARK Sports including the host Panthers' 5-1 win over Strafford and Hollister's 10-0 victory over Strafford. in the other two games, both Forsyth and Hollister posted wins over Willow Springs by scores of 10-0 and 16-0. The Tournament will wrap-up on Wednesday.
