Ann Margaret DeCarolis, age 84, passed away November 1, 2021, in Branson, Missouri.
She entered this life on May 21, 1937, the daughter of William and Mary (Puhr) Peters in Kansas City, Kansas. Ann married the love of her life, Louis DeCarolis on June 21, 1958, after they had met on a blind date while Lou was in the United States Navy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Rose Williamson, Nell Ricketson, Mary Budy, Bill Peters, Benny Peters, Bob Peters, George Peters, and Patricia Blanton; daughter, Julie Hiatt; and grandson, Chris Hiatt.
Ann attended a Catholic high school and college, where she received a degree in teaching. Ann loved the Lord and was active in many churches throughout her life as well as dedicating many hours volunteering her services to the community. She enjoyed quilting, reading, playing softball and golfing when she was younger, cooking for her loved ones, solving puzzles, playing cards and other games. Ann was a marvelously loving mother and grandmother; she enjoyed spending every possible moment with those who she doted on.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Louis DeCarolis of Branson, Missouri; daughter, LuAnn (Pat) O’Neill; sons: Tony (Jerri) DeCarolis and David DeCarolis; grandchildren: Katie (Blake) Bergerson, Megan O’Neill, Kevin (Andrea) O’Neill, Jordon DeCarolis, Lewis DeCarolis, Elizabeth Hiatt, and Zachary (Addie) DeCarolis; and great-grandson, Beckham.
