Anna Faye Hawley Kolb, 82, of Harrison, Arkansas.
Anna Faye Hawley Kolb, 82, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on May 23, 2024, at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Harrison, Arkansas. Anna was born on April 10, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri. She was the daughter of David and Madelyne (Bass) Hawley.
Ann was formerly a swim instructor and was very involved with the Red Cross. She introduced many local children to the water, a legacy that she was very proud of. Ann moved from Springfield, Missouri sometime after her marriage to Herbert Kolb, where she previously was a court reporter. Together they campaigned tirelessly for the Democratic Party of Boone County until his passing. Ann loved to travel and was blessed with doing much of that in her lifetime. Her talent of playing her Ukulele and singing Hawaiian songs will be a memory the family will treasure.
Ann is survived by her stepchildren, Fred and Cindy Kolb, Kathy and Donald McClure, Charles Kolb and Carol, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her “Tribe” of great gal pals. She knew how loved she was; she was especially close to Cindy “Cin Cin” Kolb as she was her caregiver and daily companion until her passing.
A memorial will be announced to family and friends at a later date. Donations in her name can be given to Hillcrest Nursing Center, Summit House or the local Red Cross Chapter. Condolences may be left at www.DiamondStateCremation.com.
