Ardella Margaret Myers Javis, 75.
Ardella Margaret Myers Javis was born on March 1, 1949 in Ottawa, Illinois. She entered into rest on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita at the age of 75.
As a young girl, Ardella moved with her family to Branson where she grew up and graduated from Branson High School. She met her husband, Robert Javis, while living in Minnesota and the two were married on November 22, 1985. Their life was blessed with the addition of their daughter, Tracie.
Ardella had moved from Minnesota to Springfield and then to Aurora. Her career centered around the care of others, working with the dietary needs of residents at Aurora’s nursing and care facilities.
Ardella will be remembered for the love and care she had for her family and others. She will also be remembered for her love of reading and extensive book collection. She loved the challenge of puzzles, sudoku and solitaire. A big Hallmark Channel fan, she enjoyed watching their movies year-round.
Ardella was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Javis; parents, Oscar and Margeret Myers; brothers, Frank, William and Richard Myers; and sisters, Elaine Clayton and Elsie Kinyon.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Javis and husband Trevor King of Wichita; her grandchildren, Nova and Dayton King; and her brother Virgil Myers and wife Stella of Rockaway Beach, MO.
Graveside services will be Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
