Christian Lee Russell, age 17 of Ozark, Missouri.

Christian Lee Russell, age 17 of Ozark, Missouri passed away at his home Thursday, October 3, 2024. Christian was also lovingly called CC, Chrissy bear, C bear, and C man. He was born January 30, 2007 in Springfield,  Missouri to Eric and Robyn Russell.

Christian was known for his bright smile that could light up a room and make your troubles disappear.  His joy was palpable. He radiated joy that could only come from God. Christian loved the rides at Silver Dollar City, swinging in the backyard, swimming at the pool, and going for rides on his bike.  He also loved music. He would sway and sing along and sign for ‘more music’.  His taste in music would range from Itsy Bitsy Spider to Adele to worship songs. You could always find him shaking his rattle or playing his toy guitar. He loved going to new places with his family. He traveled to the beach in Florida, the Bahamas on a Disney cruise, White Sox game in Chicago and camping in Milwaukee. Christian will be sadly missed, but his loving memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Please continue to share your smile with others in memory of Christian.

Christian is survived by his loving parents Eric and Robyn Russell; his younger brother Bryant; his younger sister Sydney. His maternal grandma Sharon Bryant.  His paternal grandparents Al and Tana Skeen. His aunts and uncles Kerry Moore, Ben and Katie Bryant, Kevin and Jody Russell, Keta and Donny Sherwood, Melissa and Joe Cutting. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Terry Bryant.

Funeral Services for Christian will be 5:00 P.M. Monday, October 7, 2024 in James River Church Clark Chapel, South Campus, Ozark, Missouri. Visitation will be 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. Monday in the church. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
