Cynthia Lee “Cindy” Smith, age 60, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Cassville.
She was born September 26, 1960 in Lake Charles, Louisiana the daughter of Ronald and Mary (Robitaille) Addison. On February 1, 1985 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Hal Smith, who survives. Also surviving are her parents, Ronald and Mary Addison of Cassville, Missouri; one son, Shane Smith of Cassville, Missouri; one daughter, Sommer Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one stepson, Tyler Smith of Cassville, Missouri; two brothers, Doug Addison and his wife Sandy of Ragley, Louisiana and Russell Addison of Cassville, Missouri and three grandchildren, Flynn Burnette, Cadyn Smith and Cash Smith.
Cindy grew up and received her education in Louisiana, graduating from South Beauregard High School in Longville, Louisiana. In 1982 she moved from Lake Charles, Louisiana to Cassville, Missouri. She was employed at a bank for fourteen years, then because of her love for animals she opened Cindy’s Pet Center in Cassville. Some of her favorite pastimes were camping, fishing, crocheting and looking for four leaf clovers. As a teenager she was baptized at Magnolia Baptist Church in Ragley, Louisiana. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 30, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Monday at Corinth Baptist Church.
