Diann Jean Latty, age 70, of Hollister, Missouri.
Diann Jean Latty, age 70, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away on October 3, 2021. She entered this life April 5, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Oliver and Charlotte (Pardue) Nieters. She was preceded in death by her parents. Diann was joined in marriage to John Latty on October 18, 1990.
Having a servant’s heart and a kind smile, Diann lived her life as a follower of her Savior Jesus Christ, whom she loved. With a cheerful sense of humor, Diann appreciated a good practical joke, especially when she was the one playing it. She kept her family on their toes, and always in her prayers. Diann had a passion for staying true to her beliefs, being outdoors, swimming in her pool, and growing plants (each one has a name). Most of all, Diann loved Jesus, adored her grandchildren, cherished her sons-in-law, and poured loved into her husband John and children. Her family, friends, and neighbors will miss her energy and love.
Diann is survived by her husband of 29 years, John Latty of Hollister, Missouri; four children and their spouses: Rose and Junior Shook; James Barnes, Elizabeth and Greg Lebsock, all of Hollister, Missouri, and David Latty of Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren: Chandler, Cameron, Jayke, and Will; brother-in-law, Linus McCue of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters (and spouses): Russ (Cindy) Nieters of Alton, Illinois; Debbie Rodgers of Festus, Missouri; Donna (Eddie) Darby of St. Ann, Missouri, Judy Nieters of Atlanta, Georgia, Darlene (Bobby) Blair of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Doretta (Brad) Ward of St. Louis, Missouri; as well as many nieces and nephews.
