Edward Joseph Mitchell, age 78, of Branson, Missouri.

Edward Joseph Mitchell, age 78, of Branson, Missouri, passed away December 27, 2024. He entered this life June 22, 1946, in Richmond, California, the son of Ernest and Mary (Land) Mitchell. He was joined in marriage September 22, 1974, to Linda Claassen.

Edward worked many jobs in his long career and finally went back to school in his forties to get his degree in working with computer systems. He was known for his coffee making, watching NASCAR, and enjoying the peace and quiet he could find. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Linda Mitchell; two daughters: Katherine (Mauricio) Garcia of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jennifer (Joshua) Wilson of Harrison, Arkansas; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mary Jane Mitchell of West Virginia, and Betty Jean Duncan of West Virginia; brother, David Mitchell of California; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
