Eric Major, age 34.

Cherished son, brother, father and friend, Eric Major, entered into rest on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the age of 34.

Eric was born on July 27, 1989 in Springfield, Missouri.  He attended Kirbyville Elementary School and later graduated from Hollister High School.  He worked in sales for Saphire Resort in Branson and most recently at Ashley Furniture in Springfield.  Eric loved being a dad and spending time with his children.  He also enjoyed playing poker and video games.

Eric will be deeply missed by his mother, Julie Sturgis of Nixa; children, Christian Donald Major-Aguilar and Adrianna Sophia Major-Aguilar and their mother Daniela Aguilar; sisters, Staci Major and Katrina Sturgis; and brother, Kent Sturgis along with his two best friends, Ashley Card and Brad Berscheid.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Major and we are comforted knowing that they are now reunited.

A celebration of Eric’s life will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
