Ernest Charles Frazier Jr., age 89, of Branson, Missouri.
Ernest Charles Frazier Jr., age 89, of Branson, Missouri, passed away suddenly July 2, 2022, at home. He entered this life July 28, 1933, in Copeland, Kansas, the son of Ernest Sr. and Margureite (Davis) Frazier. Ernest is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Charlotte Frazier and Edith Peterson. He was joined in marriage June 30, 1957, to Karen Hanson.
Ernest proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War era. He was an exceptional athlete during high school and throughout his Army service. He became a member of the Copeland, Kansas, American Legion and upon moving to Branson, Missouri, became an active member of the Branson First Baptist Church. After many hours writing, research, and interviews, Ernest composed five books of historical fiction. He loved his family, holding a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He will be gone but not forgotten by all who knew him.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 65 years, Karen Frazier; son, Kyle Frazier of Minnetonka, Minnesota; daughter, Shelli (Rick) Rehmert of Peabody, Kansas; seven grandchildren: Nicki (Matthew) Brouk, Seth (Nicole) Rehmert, Lindsay Rehmert, Luke (Abigail) Rehmert, Jonathan (Alissa) Rehmert, Heather Johnson, and Katrina Frazier; four great-grandchildren: Russel, Braxton, Judah, and Adalyn; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
