Fred Haven Murphy, age 49, of Branson, Missouri, passed away June 26, 2022, in Branson, Missouri. He entered this life January 26, 1973, in Maryville, Missouri, the son of Dennis and Linda (Stephenson) Murphy. His mother has preceded him in death.
A man of the outdoors, Fred could be found fishing, boating, exploring the backwoods, and searching for mushrooms. He worked as a Loader Operator at the quarry. Fred was known as a prankster and jokester. The more he loved you the more you got it. If you met him, you either loved or despised him, with no middle ground. Those who loved Fred, loved him wholly and will never forget his antics and shared place in our hearts.
Fred is survived by his fiancée, Sharee Volner and her two children: Crystian Whipple and Echo Whipple of Bedford, Iowa; three daughters, Jeanie, Cheyanne, and Layna; two brothers, Tommy (Michelle) Murphy of Anita, Iowa, and Louis (Lynette) Murphy of Maitland, Missouri; half-sister, Katie Murphy of Maitland, Missouri; father, Dennis (Kathy) Murphy of Maitland, Missouri; and future in-laws, Kevin (Sherri) Volner of Quitman, Missouri; as well as a host of friends and extended family.
