Harry J. Miller, Sr. 74, Branson entered into rest on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021 at Cox South Medical Center, Springfield. There will be no local services at this time. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Quincy, Ill. at a later date. Services and cremation were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
Harry John Miller, Sr. was born March 28, 1947 in Quincy, Illinois. He was the son of Harry Leonard Miller and Mildred H. (Schuermann) Miller-Beever. He attended and graduated from the Quincy Senior High School in Quincy, Ill. On August, 8, 1964 he married the love of his life, his one and only, Mary Lou Musolino. They had celebrated fifty-seven years together. Harry & Mary Lou were blessed with three children.
Harry was a very successful owner and operator of the Miller Electronics, Co. in Quincy, Ill. and Omaha, Ark. for over forty years, from which he retired. He moved to the Branson area about fifteen years ago. Harry was a member of the Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church, Kimberling City. In the Tri-Lakes area he worked for Combs Family Ventures LLC Enterprises as a maintenance supervisor, and made lasting bonds with his work family, whom was like a second family to him and his wife.
Harry’s free time is where he had fun. He was a great story-teller, jokester, a card player, karaoke singer, worked on cars, and fished for catfish. He always had time for his family all the way down to the great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Ron Jackson, Tommy Miller, and Sally Schuermann.
Harry is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou Miller of Branson; children Stephen Miller (Regina) of St. Louis, Mo.; Chip Miller of Quincy, Ill.; Penny Goodman (Kevin) of Harrison, Ark.; siblings Delbert Jackson of Fla.; Noni Sprouse of South Haven, Miss.; Bob Beever of Quincy, Ill.; Eldon Beever (Cheri) of Peoria, Ill.; Karen Berry (John) of Republic, Mo.; Mary Ruth Senf of Michigan, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
