Hobart “Jim” James Gardner, age 85, of Ridgedale, Missouri.
Hobart “Jim” James Gardner, age 85, of Ridgedale, Missouri, peacefully passed away with family by his side on July 3, 2022. He entered this life on November 29, 1936, the son of William and Gladys (Hilgert) Gardner in Victor, Montana. Jim was joined in marriage to Jo Snyder on March 6, 1992. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Joe and Jerry Gardner; and sister, Jeannie Gardner.
Jim proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a firm believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of the Friendly Baptist Church in Branson, Missouri. Jim enjoyed being able to stay busy building projects and working with his hands; he was an industrious thinker and could do just about anything. He relished in being able to help people and was a friend to all animals. Jim was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jo Gardner of Ridgedale, Missouri; son, James (Kristina) Gardner of Springfield, Missouri; and granddaughter, Samantha Gardner of Springfield, Missouri.
