Ida R. Wobrock-Jinkerson, age 83, of Galena, Missouri
Ida R. Wobrock-Jinkerson, age 83, of Galena, Missouri, passed away March 31, 2022, at home with loved ones at her bedside. She entered this life June 14, 1938, in Wayne, Michigan, the daughter of Dallas and Iva (Vanwashanova) Lemmanns. Preceding her in death are her parents; first husband, John Wobrock and second husband, Harry Jinkerson; and a brother, Robert Bell.
There is no doubt that Ida loved her Lord and Savior. That love was shared with all her family and was unconditional. She was an outdoor person, boating, camping, swimming, and anything to do that she could be in the sun. Ida was an officer in the Yacht Club of Lake Erie. She was fond of lighthouses and very proud of her French Canadian/Black Foot Indian heritage. She was the matriarch of her family, and her passing will leave a longing in many hearts.
Ida is survived by her two daughters: Sherry Wobrock of Branson West, Missouri, and Connie (Doug) Spain of Galena, Missouri; son, John Wobrock of Tarpon Springs, Florida; Godson, Rick Nicolls of Florida; five grandchildren: Christopher Miller, Rebecca Bailey, Briana Wobrock, Connery Spain, and Anthony Wobrock; four Bailey great-granddaughters: Tila, Rockell, Aliyah, and Jocelyn; brother, Edward Bell of Michigan; two sisters: Linda Clayton of Tennessee, and Paula Bell of Michigan; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. April 7, 2022, at Living Word Church, 50 Hope Way, Branson West, Missouri, with Pastor Dan Olson officiating.
