Ivan Lee [Signs] Way 5/29/1973.
Ivan was the son of William and Darla [Lynch] Signs and on July 21, 2022, he took his last breath. Although he will be missed by his friends and family, we know he is at peace. Ivan attended Hollister High School and it was then he showed a love of music that followed him throughout his life. He was a self-taught Bass player and guitarist, as well as many other music instruments. The colleagues that he played with expressed that he was one of the best in the area, and he had an ear for music. Ivan also enjoyed his years at Shepherd of the Hill Outdoor Theater where he helped operate the sound board. Ivan was a Walmart associate where he met many friends, and with his father he was in Motown Downtown in the early years with Walter White.
Ivan leaves behind his parents Bill and Darla of Hollister, Mo. as well as his siblings, brother Matthew Way and his wife Annette of North Carolina, sister Theresa [Signs] Corcoran and husband Brian of Hollister, Mo., and brother William [Jason] Signs of Hollister, Mo. As well as nephews Adam Signs, Tyler Lee, Coby Signs, Nick Signs, Aften Brown, Jaedon Corcoran, and [Josiah] JoJo Corcoran. Nieces Amberlee [Signs] Underwood and husband Danial, Haliena Brown, Athena Corcoran and many great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. Ivan also leaves behind his ex-wife Nichole Way and dear friend Tuesday Heston who both played an immense part in his care at the end of his life. He also leaves behind a second ex-wife Kim Knox, as well as those he met and loved him and called him their friend.
