Janice Arlene Landry, age 77, of Branson, Missouri.

Janice Arlene Landry, age 77, of Branson, Missouri, passed away June 12, 2024. She entered this life on April 23, 1947, the daughter of Dwayne and Helen (White) Chishlom in Los Angeles, California. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Wendy Lynn Stillman.

With great love for her family, Janice was a fantastic mother and grandma. She enjoyed playing games on Facebook and reading mystery and romance books. The memories she created over the past seventy-seven years will be cherished by all who knew her.

Janice is survived by her children: Don Lee Thompson and wife, Darla of Memphis, Tennessee, Edwin Scott Thompson, Jr. of Branson, Missouri, and Elizabeth Jan Thompson of Branson, Missouri; grandchildren: Gerald Stillman, David Stillman, Kimberly Warren, and Jacob Thompson; brother, Dick Chishlom; sister, Carolyn Kerr; niece, Tally Wilson; nephew, Terry Tutor; and furbabies: Princess Dog and Casper Cat. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

There will be a celebration of life held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 400 S. Sunshine, Branson, Missouri, with Pastor Jeff Wilcox officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janice’s name to the Taney County Humane Society, 255 Critter Trail, Hollister, Missouri 65672.
