Services for Jean Shepard, 73 of Cedar Creek, will be Thursday, March 3, 2022. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Graveside services will be at 2:30 P.M. in Nickerson Cemetery, Kimberling City.
Jean Ann Shepard was the daughter of Harold & Rosella (Sing) Tiller. She was born April 4, 1948 in Tulsa, OK. She moved to Stone County in 1985 from Danville, OK. On September 27, 1986, Jean married Glendell Shepard in Reeds Spring, MO. Together they owned and operated The Bear’s Den in Galena. Jean had also worked for the President of Dynatek Laboratories in Galena and as a pharmacist assistant at Branson Pharmacy.
Jean had a strong creative side and she enjoyed sewing. She grew beautiful flowers in the gardens around her home. She also had a heart for animals. Jean will be remembered for the beauty she brought into the world along with her love and care as a wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Jean entered into rest on Monday, February 28, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles Tiller.
She is survived by her husband, Glendell Shepard of Cedar Creek; children, Christopher Butcher of Daytona, FL, Suzan Russell of Abesville, MO and Elizabeth Banister (Jim) of Mt. Vernon, MO; sister, Beth Ingham of Farmington, NM along with five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
