Larry William Pucel

Larry William Pucel, age 70, of Blue Eye, Missouri.

Larry William Pucel, age 70, of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away June 22, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He entered this life August 20, 1953, the son of Edward “Henry” and Frances (Boyle) Pucel in St. Louis, Missouri. Larry was joined in marriage to Louise Yvonne Metcalf on June 26, 2004.

Being gifted with skilled hands and an inquisitive mind, Larry was a talented mechanic with a deep appreciation for the different vehicles that he worked on. He worked for Downtown Texaco for a few years and Kanakuk Kamps for eight years during his time in the Ozark Mountains. Larry was a founding member of Closer Walk Church in Ridgedale, Missouri. He enjoyed boating and spending time with his family. The memories and moments created over the past seventy years will be cherished by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by wife of twenty years, Louise Pucel of Blue Eye, Missouri; stepson, Chris Clements of Houston, Texas; brothers: Edward Pucel and wife, Regina of Kirkwood, Missouri, and Steve Pucel and wife, Tammy of Blue Eye, Missouri; nephew, Jason Pucel; family friend, Kathy Elliott of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Mark Cripe and Stephanie Winterbauer; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Carol Pucel and Kathline Pucel.

There will be a celebration of life held 2:00 p.m. Sunday July 7, 2024, at Closer Walk Church, 1163 Ridgedale Rd, Ridgedale, Missouri, Pastor William Durrant, with food to follow after services.
