Lawrence Dean “Larry” Dudley, Sr., age 83, of Cassville, Missouri.

Lawrence Dean “Larry” Dudley, Sr., age 83, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at his home.

He was born December 20, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Albert and Mary (Streck) Dudley. On June 2, 1962 in Arlington Heights, Illinois he was united in marriage to Susan Marie Kindler, who preceded him in death on July 14, 2018. Also preceding him in death were his parents; grandsons, Mike Dickson and Larry Dickson; two brothers, Dusty and John and two sisters, Joyce and Dolores.

Surviving are three sons, Lawrence Dudley, Jr. of Dubai, Paul Dudley and his wife Lori of Springfield, Oregon and Joshua Dudley and his wife Katrina of Cassville, Missouri; three daughters, Tami Dickson of Cassville, Missouri, Lori Golubski of Cassville, Missouri and Teri Dudley of Cassville, Missouri; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Larry grew up and attended school in Kansas City, Kansas graduating from Turner High School. After graduation he served in the United States Air Force. He was employed by the Kansas City Fire Department, Station #18 in Kansas City, Kansas, from where he retired in 1994 as a captain. Larry enjoyed farming and working cows and he loved to hunt and fish. He was a member St. Edward Catholic Church.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 14, 2024 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Father William Hodgson will conduct the services. Burial with military honors will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
