Marion Ronnie Green Sr., age 75, of Merriam Woods, Missouri.

Marion Ronnie Green Sr., age 75, of Merriam Woods, Missouri, passed away on June 17, 2024. He entered this life on April 22, 1949, in Noble, Oklahoma, the son of Raymond and Julia Mae Green. Marion was joined in marriage on July 5, 1968, to Alva Himes.

A two-time combat veteran in the Marine Corps, Marion proudly served his country. He grew up in Harrah, Oklahoma, where he cherished every memory created there. Marion enjoyed working on cars, traveling, scratching lottery tickets, playing solitaire, and spending time outdoors. He survived three difficult bouts of cancer, fighting with all he had. His family walked with and supported him as he fought every step of the way. He was delighted with the time he got to spend with his family. Some of his favorite times with family were down at Lake Thunderbird in Norman, Oklahoma and in Harrah America. Marion was loved by his family and friends and will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Julia Green; sister, Shirley Lemaster; brother, Frank Green; brother, Raymond Green; sister, Dorothy Green; brother, Oscar Green; brother, Charlie Green; and bonus parents: Loretta and Earl Himes.

Marion is survived by his wife, Alva Green of Merriam Woods, Missouri; daughter, Ruth (Jacob) Green of Merriam Woods, Missouri; daughter, Julia (Garrett) Vrooman of Salado, Texas; son, Marion Ronnie Green Jr. of Merriam Woods, Missouri; and daughter, Danielle (Logan) Greenwood of Westminster, Colorado. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Ashley Green, Breanna Green, Cody Diggan, Brittany Vrooman, Emaly Vrooman, Bret Bennett, and Kendall Seidel; and numerous great grandchildren.
