Mary Ellen Harrison, age 93, of Hot Springs, Arkansas

          Mary Ellen Harrison, age 93, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Montgomery County Nursing Home in Mount Ida, Arkansas.

            She was born February 16, 1930 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas the daughter of Neria and Maybelle (Beaver) Pruitt, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were one son, Steve Abram; one brother, Eugene Pruitt; one sister, Alice Faye Waldron and one nephew, Matthew Abram.

            Surviving are one son, Mike Abram of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Ella Mae Lowe of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Lori and Amy; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

            Mary was employed by St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri for several years as an administrative secretary. Some of her favorite pastimes were knitting and gardening.

            Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services.
