Michael Eugene Harris, age 39, of Hollister, Missouri.
Michael Eugene Harris, age 39, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away November 13, 2024. He was born November 29, 1984, the son of Ernest Harris and Karen (Zimmerman) Carmichael in Fort Worth, Texas. Michael was joined in marriage on April 22, 2022, to Juanita McGuigan.
Michael proudly served his country for twelve years in the United States Army. Michael was a great leader for those around him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and playing Fortnite. Michael was skilled at fixing motors and worked for a small engine repair business. He loved his dogs: Sadie and Spencer. The memories and moments created over his lifetime will be cherished by all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his wife, Juanita Harris; daughter, Priscilla Harris; son, Gunnar (Matthew) Cauldwell; daughter, Gretchen (Maylen) Coyne, all of Hollister, Missouri; brothers: Joseph Harris of Gaylord, Michigan, Adam Berkey of Vevay, Indiana, and Matthew (Cameo) Kinsey of Zanesville, Indiana; mother, Karen (Allen) Carmichael of Niles, Michigan; stepfather, Larry Berkey of Huntington, Indiana; and step-grandmother, April (Phil) Campbell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father; maternal grandmother, Sheila (Joe) Huffman; maternal grandfather, Ben Zimmerman; paternal grandfather, Donald (Edna) Harris; and step-grandfather, Warren “Skip” Berkey.
There will be a service held Saturday November 30, 2024, VFW Post 2689, 220 West Fork Drive, Huntington, Indiana, with visitation 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and memorial service 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
