Mona Beatrice (Anderson) Inskeep

Mona Inskeep, age 64 of Branson, Missouri

Services for Mona Inskeep, 64 of Branson, will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the First Assembly of God Church, 399 State Hwy T, Branson, MO with Pastor Stan Miller officiating.  Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson following Wednesday’s service at the church.

Visitation will be on Tuesday evening, January 24, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.

Mona Beatrice (Anderson) Inskeep was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on May 3, 1958.  She was one of five girls born to David & Mary Marie (Heizelman) Anderson.  Mona lived in Oklahoma till 1997 when she moved to Branson.  She attended elementary school in Parkland, OK and graduated from Stroud High School.  On November 30, 1979, Mona married the love of her life, Jeff Inskeep in Cushing, OK.  They were blessed with two children, Brandon and Amber.

Mona was an amazing wife, mother, sister and grandmother.  She cherished time with her family and her friends.  She was always cheerful and outgoing and had a smile on her face. She made delicious meals and treats for her family and took great joy in sharing time in the kitchen and her recipes with family.  Holidays were important to Mona and some of her favorite times. Mona enjoyed celebrating holidays with her grandchildren and family and always had special holiday outfits and jewelry to wear for the occasion.  She was always in search of a good deal or unique treasure.  She took on and happily completed the 100-mile yard sale that stretched from Ft. Smith to Beebe, AR as well as enjoying shopping flea markets and other garage sales when she could. Mona loved going on cruises.  She worked several years in retail and past years as a homemaker. If she found a moment to sit down, she enjoyed catching up on her soap operas. In Mona’s lifetime she created many friendships.  Her kindness, laughter, and smile will always be remembered. 

Mona passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at KU Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David & Mary and a younger sister, Betty Joe Anderson. 

She is survived by husband Jeff of Branson; son, Brandon & his wife Amber of Ridgedale; daughter Amber of Branson; grandchildren Brady, Kinzlee, Macee and Coree; sisters, Pat Herber (Ted) of Parkland, OK, Donna Anderson of Parkland, OK, Linda Anderson of Midwest City, OK. Mother- in-law Peggy Inskeep, Sister-in-law DeeAnna Rollins, Brother-in-law Tim Inskeep, Sister-in-law Michele Inskeep and a host of family and friends.
