Oleta Colleen Beeler was born on May 14, 1933 in Cedar Creek, Missouri. She was the daughter of William Collins & Eunice (Blackwell) Collins. She was a life-long resident of Taney County and passed away on January 23, 2022 at her home in Branson at the age of 88.
Oleta was a devoted wife to her husband Ernest who she married on August 19, 1951 in Harrison, AR. She was a loving mother to her two sons, Terry and Roger. She spent much of her life making a home and caring for her family. She had a green thumb, a thriving garden and a beautiful yard. She had worked outside the home at the Branson Garment Factory as a seamstress and as the Department Lead for the health and beauty department at Wal-Mart. Above all, Oleta was a servant of Christ and her life a testimony to his love. She was currently a member at The Sanctuary of Hope in Branson.
Oleta was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, LT Collins, Scott Collins, Earl Collins and Opalee Rogers.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Beeler of Branson; sons, Terry Beeler (Janine) of Tampa, FL, Roger Beeler (Kristi) of Mead, OK; siblings, Junior Collins of Cedar Creek, MO, Jean Cummings of Walnut Shade, MO, Dobie Youngblood of Galena, MO; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM and the funeral service staring at 2:00 PM with Pastor Billy Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
