Randal Ray Parks

Randal Ray Parks, age 53, Branson, Missouri

Randal Ray Parks, known as Randy to his friends and loved ones, passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2024, in Springfield, MO. Born on October 5, 1970, in Decatur, IL, Randy's zest for life and entrepreneurial spirit touched many throughout his 53 years.

Randy's early education included attending Branson Schools and OTC. He started work at a small company that specialized in car wraps. Being a part of a successful small business inspired him to start his own. In 1999 Randy founded Superior Sign and Neon with nothing but a skill and a burning passion in his heart. He dedicated his life to his business and worked long hard hours to earn his reputation. His goal was always to put people first and serve those around him. His business mindset and leadership skills shone brightly as he became a respected member of the Howard Partridge Inner Circle, a program furthering business owner’s leadership and development. His commitment to his community was further evidenced by his active involvement in the Ozark Chamber of Commerce.

Those who knew Randy will remember him as a man who loved to make people's lives better and inspire those around him. His bright, energetic, and joyful demeanor was contagious, and he had a natural ability to uplift and motivate everyone he encountered. He was a force of nature, a man whose very essence was synonymous with living life to the fullest.

Randy's adventurous spirit was never more evident than in his love for motorcycles. From racing motocross in his youth and collecting trophies that spoke to his skill and daring spirit. He always made an appearance at Bikes Blues and BBQ in Fayetteville. He had a strong brotherhood and many friends within that community. He always knew how to be the life of the party with his confidence and energetic spirit.

Randy always had a knack for disassembling and rebuilding anything he could get his hands on. From motorcycles to cars to boats and houses, RVs and signs. He was so creative and handy. The gears in his mind never stopped, he always had a bigger and better project going. If he had a will, he had a way. He always accomplished everything he put his mind to.

Randy leaves behind a legacy of love in his daughter, Ashton Parks of Sparta. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Peggy Winings of Berryville, AR, his sister, Melissa Parker of Tulsa, OK and uncle, Ronald Sheets of Berryville Arkansas. Randy's longtime companion, Stacy Petri, and her children, Anastacia, Calvin, and Bryce, were an integral part of his life, filling it with laughter, support, and shared moments that will be treasured eternally.

Randy's life was one of impact and inspiration. We are reminded of the power of a single individual to make a profound difference in the world. He taught us that every day is a chance to be better, to laugh louder, to love deeper, and to leave an indelible mark on the hearts of those we encounter. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a beacon for us all to live our lives with the same passion and joy that he did.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, 1638 E. State Hwy 76, Branson, MO.  In lieu of flowers and in support of Randy, gifts can be made at https://gofund.me/975b4c8e .
