Raphael “Eddie” Edward Bridges, age 74, of Kissee Mills, Missouri.
Raphael “Eddie” Edward Bridges, age 74, of Kissee Mills, Missouri, passed away May 30, 2024, at home, with family nearby. He entered this life February 14, 1950, in Cairo, Missouri, the son of Leonard Ferrin and Wilma Margaret (Dodd) Bridges. He was joined in marriage April 12, 1989, to Pamela Jean White.
Eddie proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served in many communities as a police officer after the Army. Eddie was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Fredricktown, Missouri. He finally retired from driving a truck from Gregory Logistics in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. After his retirement, Eddie retired from the last of his career from Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents; a baby boy; one brother; one uncle; and one nephew.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pamela Bridges of Kissee Mills, Missouri; daughter, Sabrina (John) Frey of Kissee Mills, Missouri; son Bradley White-Bridges of Kissee Mills, Missouri; two grandchildren: Lane Frey and Ashtyen Frey; aunt, Vera Bridges of Olive Branch, Illinois; cousin Dean Bridges and wife of Nowata, Oklahoma; nephew, Jonathan (Donna) Bridges of Elco, Illinois; as well as several other friends and extended family.
A celebration of life will be from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. June 9, 2024, at New Vision Church, 179 Church Camp Rd., Taneyville, Missouri.
