Ricky Lee Turpen, age 67, of Branson, Missouri, passed away November 5, 2022, at home with his wife and loyal dog, Doodle, near his side. He entered this life September 8, 1955, in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of Sidney Patton and Helen (Linder) Turpen. His father has preceded him in death. He was joined in marriage May 25, 2000, to Carol Ann Inyart.
Known as a Mr. Fix-it, Rick could fix or repair anything that needed attention. He was also an accomplished musician, playing the guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. Many hours were invested in playing music in the garage and around the family and friends. Rick also was an outdoorsman, camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, and being outside. He was a member of the Branson Christian Church and an HVAC repair specialist. His life was lived for those around him and has left a legacy to follow.
Rick is survived by his wife and partner for 24 years, Carol Turpen; five sons: Ricky Turpen of Berryville, Arkansas; Randy (Dawn) Turpen of Berryville, Arkansas; Robert (Ashley) Turpen of Berryville, Arkansas; D.J. Turpen of Mountain Home, Idaho; and Caleb (Em) Turpen of Bremerton, Washington. Twelve grandchildren: Sidney, Aloura, Corban, Eden, Eben, Jazmin, Patrick, Izaiha, Layla, Oliver, Tucker, and Conway; and his mother, Helen Wells.
