Robert Jackie Achtien, age 96, of Branson, Missouri.

Robert Jackie Achtien, age 96, of Branson, Missouri, passed away April 11, 2024. He was born March 2, 1928, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Robert was the son of Robert Achtien and Selma Orth Achtien.

Robert graduated high school from Aberdeen High School. He attended Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Robert Joined the Army in 1946 and served until 1948. After the service, he returned to the farm for a short while and then moved to California. After retiring from the Glendale School District, he moved to Missouri. Robert was a skilled wood crafts man and a collector of gadgets and lover of beer.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert Achtien and Selma Achtien; two brothers: Roy and Don Achtien; his wife of forty-four years, Beverly Achtien; two stepchildren: Craig Elfman and Kimberly Elfman Higgins.

Robert is survived by three step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed for was greatly loved.
